Super 8 has a look digital can't fake: soft color, warm skin tones, real grain and a little flicker at the edges. It feels less like a video of your day and more like how you'll remember it.
Every frame is shot on real film in a real Super 8 camera. After the wedding, the rolls go to a lab to be developed and scanned, then I cut them into your film.
It's imperfect on purpose. That texture is the whole point.

Film is real, and real film is a little unpredictable.
If any roll comes back from the lab unusable, you get that roll's value back. Simple as that. You get to enjoy the magic of real film without carrying any of the risk.
What's the difference between raw footage and the edited film?
Raw footage is the total time shot on film, every frame from every roll, scanned straight from the lab. The highlight edit is a shorter piece I cut from that footage and set to music, keeping only the best shots.
Do we get to keep the actual film?
Yes. Every package comes with your original Super 8 reel, shipped to you to keep, along with digital scans of all the raw footage.
How long until we get our film?
Films typically arrive in 8–10 weeks. Your rolls go to a film lab to be developed and scanned first, then I cut your highlight edit and ship your reel home to you.
Can we add Super 8 to a digital package?
Yes. Super 8 is a $650 add-on to any digital wedding or elopement package, with about 2:30 of real film per reel. See all the packages.
Is there sound?
No. Super 8 is silent film, so music is added in the edit. If you want your vows and toasts on record too, pair it with a digital film.
Do you travel outside Yosemite?
